John J. Costello, Jr., D.O.
Dr.
John Costello returned to Central New York from Doctor's Hospital/Ohio
University in Columbus, Ohio where he served as the chief ophthalmology
resident. He served as a clinical instructor for Ohio University before working
in the same capacity here in Syracuse with the Health Science Center ophthalmology
residents. He has received additional specialized training from Harvard
University's Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and the Ohio State University,
Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Costello completed his internship at the Osteopathic
Medical Center of Philadelphia and St. Agnes Medical Center where he was
chief intern. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College
of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Costello is a native of Oneida. He went to college at St Lawrence University in the New York "North Country." He enjoys water sports, downhill skiing, golf, and spending time with his family.
